The Effects of Logistics Capabilities and Strategy on Firm Performance - Based on data from the retail grocery industry, we find that firms with logistics capabilities matched to an appropriate strategy out perform those that do not. Managers should carefully evaluate corporate strategy and resources to ensure that such a match is possible. Avenues for future research are suggested.
