Efforts of Labor Unions for Securing Non Financial Benefits for Workers – A Study of Pakistani Unions in Comparison to Unions of Other Countries

In Pakistan Labor unions‘ is least researched area. Labor unions in Pakistan have been attributed with securing financial benefits for their members through collective bargaining. But unions have also been exerting efforts for securing non-financial benefits for workers in the form of: Job Security, Working hour‘s reduction, working conditions improvement, health facilities, informing workers for Rights & Removing their fears, Recreation facilities and providing training to workers. In this research article efforts of Pakistani unions have been estimated in securing these facilities.
