Electronic Management and Its Role in Developing the Performance of E-government in Jordan
Improving the performance of electronic management for its application in e-government calls for practical mechanisms that come about improving human resources and linking them with knowledge and technology through the generalization of the use of electronic management, as it is an important means to raise the efficiency of employees and develop their performance, and digital solutions have become one of the essential pillars in the development of public administration and are considered the pivotal mechanism that Serving citizens and moving the wheel of development at the local level. Jordan’s efforts have tended to pay attention to information and communication technology and integrate it into public institutions and local administration to develop administrative functions such as eliminating bureaucracy, such as improving services provided to citizens. In this research, the researchers will explain the role of electronic administration in the success of e-government, as the Jordanian state is striving to reform public administration to face international transformations and global competition laws, in light of the spread of an electronic revolution in all sectors facing challenges in front of increasing the competitiveness of the national economy and the global economy, what obligated it to any. The state is working to digitize all administrative sectors using modern and accurate electronic means. Hence, the topic of our research came to answer the following problem: How does electronic management contribute to developing the performance of e-government? In an attempt to answer this problem, we raised the following sub-questions: What is meant by electronic management? How to switch from traditional management to electronic management? What are the obstacles to this transformation? What is the extent of e-management applications in e-governance? The paper also presents a conclusion and recommendations at the end
