Enterprise Resources Planning and New Leverages : Knowledge Management and E-business

ERP systems are usually implemented to improve organizational effectiveness. E-business andKM make ERP more effective in this process. The purpose of this paper is to present an evaluationof ERP systems and shows that ERP systems support effectiveness criteria, related to goals oforganizations in new electronic age. The study aimed to answer the following questions: What arethe similarities and differences between ERP, E-business and KM in terms of their characteristics?How do ERP, E-business and KM influence each other when they are implemented within a singleorganization? How does the combination of ERP, E-business and KM influence organizationalefficiency and flexibility?
