EU Aquaculture Assistance Mechanism : one-stop shop for supporting the growth and development of sustainable aquaculture in the EU

The European Commission aims at achieving an EU aquaculture sector that is more resilient, competitive, and a global standard in sustainability and quality. The 'strategic guidelines for a more sustainable and competitive EU aquaculture for the period 2021-2030' present a vision to achieve this, as well as concrete recommendations and proposals for action. Implementing these guidelines is a challenge for the European Commission, the 27 EU Member States, the aquaculture industry and other stakeholders. The EU Aquaculture Assistance Mechanism offers assistance in overcoming this challenge by providing technical, logistical and administrative support and by developing a website dedicated to EU aquaculture.
