Evaluation of Performance Indicators of Field Fodder Production
The feature of field fodder production is the complexity of determining the efficiency of production processes, due to the inability to determine the direct economic return of investments. Therefore, in most agricultural enterprises fodder production does not provide direct income from the sale, as feed processing products are debited at cost to own livestock requirements. The article is devoted to the methodology for determining the performance of capital in the field forage production. Found that the cost-effectiveness of investments in fodder production should be evaluated by applying the scorecard that includes common, core and additional indicators. The methods of determining the share of profit from fodder production in general income of livestock industry are being solved. It is identified and described the system of indicators of capital efficiency in fodder production. The calculation of the capital efficiency of the fodder production companies of Ukraine is being made taking into account all kinds of effects. It is found that over the past years in fodder production the rate of return on advanced capital is decreased.
