Evaluation of the Effectiveness of Development of Interbranch Relations In the National Economy
The constant improvement of interbranch proportions, in line with the level and direction of development of scientific and technical progress, plays an important part in the attainment of maximum production effectiveness for any given period. In the USSR, the restoration and consolidation of the branch principle of management of industrial production and the transition to the new system of planning and economic incentives serve to improve production relations between enterprises and branches. Implementation of the decisions elaborated at the March and September (1965) plenums of the Central Committee of the CPSU and at the 23rd CPSU Congress creates favorable conditions for the accelerated incorporation of the latest scientific and technological advances in production and for the establishment and continuous observance of optimal proportions and production relations that are most advantageous from the national economic point of view. The much more extensive use of electronic computer technology and modern economic-mathematical methods (including the interbranch balance method) in the practice of centralized and branch planning is very important for fully realizing all the advantages that the economic reform affords our national economy.
