Evolving success factors for enhancing advanced manufacturing technologies (AMTs) utilisation

In today's highly competitive world, manufacturing scenario has undergone a rapid change in the last two decades, more so in the last few years. For that reason, the companies have improved their technological status by implementing advanced manufacturing technologies (AMTs) either through joint ventures or licensing agreements. This has put a lot of difficulties at all levels to improve the utilisation level of advanced manufacturing technologies of the organisations. In this paper, various success factors that affect the utilisation level have been evolved. The study highlights the difficulties faced by Indian manufacturing organisations in order to improve organisational efficiency. To evolve the mutual relationships among success factors, the factor loading approach is used.
