Fast and slow sound in binary fluid mixtures
Some recent light scattering experiments on fast slow sound binary fluid mixtures are analyzed on the basis of a hard sphere model, introduced earlier. The association of fast and slow sound with the light and heavy component of the mixture, respectively, is confirmed by considering the temperature-temperature correlation functions for these mixtures.
