Fear and loathing at the multiplex: Everyday anxiety in the post-industrial city - The adoption of risk as a common feature of contemporary social construction is tied to the reality and perception of both risk and anxiety. As noted within this contribution 'ambient' fears and anxieties can saturate the social spaces of everyday routine and life.
