This study aims to better understand the role of third-country nationals (TCNs) in the EU long-term care (LTC) sector, explore options to create legal pathways to attract such workers to the EU, and formulate recommendations for Member States (MSs) and the EU, with an emphasis on ensuring fair and ethical recruitment and treatment of third-country LTC workers.
