Food and the middle class : the site of food transition in rural and urban Bengaluru, India

The global food consumption today is environmentally and socially not sustainable. While greenhousegas emissions increase due to changing diets, the dubble burden of malnutrition persists especially in emerging economies of the Global South such as India.
