France in World Politics (Франция в мировой политике)

English Abstract: This chapter gives a review of the contemporary French foreign politics and characterises the role of the Fifth Republic in the post-bipolar world. The main topics of analysis are as follows: the diplomatic strategy if Paris during the Cold War and its subsequent transformations (1958–2007), the debates about the renewing of the French foreign policy in the light of the impact of the "Gaullist-Mitterrand" heritage, the instruments of the global influence used by the leaders of the Fifth Republic, global and regional priorities of Paris.Russian Abstract: Обзор современного положения Франции в мировой политике.
