Fuzzy Reliability Analysis of a Gravity dam

This paper attempts to use various fuzzy methods to evaluate the Reliability index of a gravity dam. The chosen dam structure is analysed using Fuzzy point estimate method (FPEM), Fuzzy first order second moment method (FFOSM), Fuzzy Random Probabilistic model (FRPM) and a Hybrid model to evaluate the reliability index and hence, the probability of failure of a dam section considered. A Comparision is done between the different methods to evaluate which method describes the random variables the best
