Genesis and Modern Condition of the Problem of the Formation of Professional Image

The paper is devoted to the analysis historiography of the formation of the image abroad and in Russia. The purpose of the work is to study and analyze the process of emergence, formation and development of the image. The result of the work is the identification of the stages of image development, including professional. Content analysis of philosophical, psychological-pedagogical, image-logical literature showed that at the present stage of development of society there is a further deepening and expansion of the concepts of “image” and “professional image” in the field of theory and practice of vocational education in general and improvement of the process of formation of professional image future specialists in public relations in particular. We made the conclusion that our historiographic analysis of the emergence, formation and development of the image allows us to present the trajectory of its development, to identify promising areas of scientific research and to evaluate the degree of the developed problems.
