Green HRM and higher education: study of Palestinian workers shows impact of green HRM on employees’ commitment to be greener
Purpose: This paper aims to review the latest management developments across the globe and pinpoint practical implications from cutting-edge research and case studies. Design: This briefing is prepared by an independent writer who adds their own impartial comments and places the articles in context. Findings: A study of the experiences of 208 employees in Palestinian higher education departments showed green human resources management (GHRM) had a major impact on employee in-role green behavior, extra-tole green behavior and green innovative work behavior (GIWB). In addition, results showed GWE (green work engagement) was a significant intervening mechanism. Originality: The briefing saves busy executives, strategists and researchers hours of reading time by selecting only the very best, most pertinent information and presenting it in a condensed and easy-to-digest format.
