How and Why Industrial Firms and Entrepreneurial Knowledge-Intensive Firms Use Knowledge to Compete Globally

The aim of this research is to investigates that how and why industrial firm and entrepreneurial knowledge-intensive firms use knowledge to compete globally. Today innovation and entrepreneurship takes into consideration issues of firm strategies and competencies, set within a systemic perspective of industrial dynamics, public policy and innovative systems. This research will be helpful and will evaluate the contribution knowledge and learning (organization) makes to the sustainability and growth of firms around the globe. Today innovation and entrepreneurship have re-emerged and contributing underlying economic growth globally. There has been clear indication and restructuring in the global industrial-based economy toward an entrepreneurial–knowledge based economy. Entrepreneurial firms (young and innovative firms) are an integral part of the transition process and have been the engine of economic growth for over a decade. The vast majority of all businesses in the USA are small, and a record number of new firms are started each year (Jean Bonnet, et al., 2010). According to Wong et al. (2005), Small firms make a significant contribution to private sector output, employment, net new jobs creation and innovations. Many of the new firms are the creators and leaders of new industries. Most job-creating firms are fast- growing and generating a disproportionate amount of innovations, patents and new technologies. Evidence indicates that the trend toward an entrepreneurial society is accelerating. Today it is concise fact that Innovation and entrepreneurship are at the base of economic growth and international competitiveness. Europe has paid a lot of attention to these issues in the policy agenda that have clearly shown double digit figures in their financial reports with high growth rate and productivity. Knowledge is considered to be a central or dyadic relationship in which industrial firms and entrepreneurial knowledge-intensive firms compete globally. Previous studies have indicated that the use of more learned and knowledgeable organizations are leading this global competition
