­­How the Impact on Aviation from Covid-19 Affected the Rest Sectors of Tourism

The COVID-19 pandemic affected the tourism sector. We investigate the impact of COVID-19 on tourism industry and specifically the possible shocks transmitted from the aviation sector to the rest sectors of tourism and how the last response to volatility. We found that shocks during the pandemic seem to produce significant impact on the responses. The framework created in this paper can be used on understanding how the impact of COVID-19 can manifest within the aviation and the tourism sector. Lastly, the outcome is significant because it allows us to better understand the need for quick actions regarding the recovery process
