HRM Practices, Organization Culture and Job Satisfaction : The Case of Korean Small and Medium-Sized Companies

Multinational corporations play a critical role in international market, how to successfully strategize and manage foreign employees becomes increasingly important to these MNCs. From previous studies, it can be gleaned that human resource management and organizational culture are important to keep employees satisfied and lower the turnover rate. These are important for MNCs to operate well in overseas markets.Results showed that organizational culture is the mediator between human resources practices and job satisfaction of employees. On the other hand, organizational culture fully mediates the relationship between training and development and job satisfaction. Findings also supported the fact that HR practices are positively related to job satisfaction. Therefore, Korean small and medium-sized companies should pay more attention to human resources management in China
