Implementation of a Construction Industry Quality Assurance System
Describes an applied research and development project at present being undertaken by the Department of Civil Engineering at Loughborough University to produce and implement a quality assurance system in a medium‐sized contracting organization. Details the methodology used, the actual work undertaken, the documentation produced, the implementation into the company and the initial affect on the Company. The scheme has operated for three‐and‐a‐half years and has six months to run.
