Improving the Matching Process between Entrepreneurs and Investors

Mini Review: The early stage of entrepreneurial finance presents formidable challenges for both entrepreneurs and investors, as they struggle to find suitable investment opportunities and identify viable ventures, respectively. Despite the availability of abundant funds and innovative ideas, the process of evaluating business proposals and negotiating deals demands specialized knowledge and entails time-consuming information exchange and verification. These factors contribute to high search and transaction costs, posing barriers to successful matches between entrepreneurs and investors. The proposed research will adopt a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative techniques. It will involve an in-depth analysis of relevant literature, interviews with entrepreneurs, investors, and experts, as well as surveys to gather comprehensive data. By incorporating diverse perspectives, I aim to gain a nuanced understanding of the factors that influence the matching process in early stage entrepreneurial finance
