The widespread implementation of the Internet, with its various methods of distributing news and promoting and generating debate, has led to very fast growth in systems for participating in decision-making processes for all sorts of people in all sorts of organisations. The handling of information promotes the feeling of participation in any decision-making process. Bodies for control and decision-making may be dissolved. Joint decision-making processes (including virtual processes) are being re-created. The process whereby participation in the dissemination of ideas and information and in the definition of organisations is becoming easier, increases the feeling of participating in the production process and vice-versa, whatever the size (measured in number of members) of the organisation.
