Institutional Arrangements for Macro-prudential Policy in Europe

The study analyses the most important pillars of institutional framework for macro-prudential policy at the level of the member states of the European Union. The study briefly describe the current – gradually and deliberately coordinated – process of substantive unification process of the institutional framework for macro-prudential authorities in the European Union and notes that the institutional framework of the macro prudential policy can be described with continuous and coordinated unifying substantive pillars and different legal and non-legal solutions which has to be the subject of legal analysis to build up the proper legal framework for MP regulation and supervision
