INSTRUMENTS FOR HIGHER EDUCATION ADJUSTMENT TO LOCAL LABOR MARKET NEEDS
Higher education adjustment to local labor market needs enables to maximize the potential of human capital for the development of an economy based on the knowledge and the innovation and improve the quality of social life. The aim of this paper is to present main instruments of higher education adjustment to the needs of local labor market in Poland. The author will review selected instruments and measures implemented by major national organizations participating in this process, i.e. national authorities, local authorities, labor offices, entrepreneurs. For the purpose of this publication, the author also drew up the diagram showing main instruments of higher education adjustment to the needs of employers carried out by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education (MNiSW).
