Integration of Transportation Resources in Maritime Supply Chain Under Revenue Sharing Contract and Quantity Discount Contract

The COVID-19 outbreak continues to have a significant negative influence on the maritime supply chain even in the post-epidemic age. By incorporating the transportation resources into the maritime supply chain, the detrimental effects of the COVID-19 epidemic's introduction can be mitigated to some extent. In order to integrate the maritime supply chain vertically through revenue sharing contracts and horizontally through quantity discount contracts, this article views the maritime supply chain as a whole. After that, it develops a bilevel programming model. The higher level model begins with an eye toward the overall revenue of the maritime supply chain, seeks to increase that revenue, and optimizes the integration strategy of various ports for both upstream and downstream businesses. The lower level model optimizes the balanced cargo volume within the integration strategy with the aim of reducing the overall cost of the transport demand side. It starts with the nodes of the maritime supply chain firms. To solve the situation, a hybrid genetic algorithm is created. The case results demonstrate that the revenue of the maritime supply chain is higher after the horizontal and vertical integration of transportation resources than it was before to that integration. The cooperation between the nodes in the maritime supply chain increases after the horizontal and vertical resource integration, and the cost falls accordingly. In some ways, the maritime supply chain is running more reliably, and the COVID-19 epidemic's detrimental effects are less noticeable
