Intellectual Capital Measure and Competitive Advantages, a Practical Application in the Efficient Consumer Response Initiative (ECR)

This paper aims to develop a model for knowledge measurement and competitive advantages generation in efficient consumer response (ECR) practices. However, we have also paid attention to other more specific objectives: the identification, selection and validation of indexes to measure intellectual capital and competitive advantages. The model is composed of two main parts: one in charge of measuring intellectual capital, and the other one measuring the achievement of firm's competitive advantages. Although CISGA-ECR is an industry global model, it can be extended to other segments and industries of interest
