Interactive maps of the world population on the INED website
The website of the French National Institute for Demographic Studies (INED) features a set of free-access interactive population maps. Thirty demographic indicators can be visualized for all countries of the world, and users can watch moving images to see how they change over time. They can also compare a selected country with its neighbours, travel from one country toanother to see how an indicator varies, observe geographical variations of an indicator on a map without borders and last, select a point on the world map and see how the population, or another quantity, is distributed around this point.
