Interview with Maggie Craddock, author of Power Genes: Understanding Your Power Persona – and How to Wield it at Work

Purpose – The purpose of this article is to provide an interview with Maggie Craddock, author of Power Genes: Understanding Your Power Persona – and How to Wield It at Work . Design/methodology/approach – The interview is conducted by an independent interviewer. Findings – Maggie Craddock is an Executive Coach and author of The Authentic Career: Following the Path of Self‐discovery to Professional Fulfillment . Prior to coaching, she received two Lipper Awards for managing the top mutual fund in its class nationwide. She is an Ackerman‐certified family therapist. Practical implications – Maggie Craddock discusses the professional implications of her Power Personas model and how this can be used to draw on existing strengths and resolve conflict. Originality/value – Self‐awareness of individual power styles is an invaluable tool for mastering your professional and personal skills.
