Is a Fermi-Dirac distribution function for a non-equilibrium electron gas in high crossed electric and magnetic fields possible?
We generalize our investigation of the electron distribution function of anelectron gas interacting with phonons and moving in high crossed electric and magnetic fields. We consider the case of a degenerate gas: we look for conditions under which the distribution function is of a Fermi-Dirac type with an electric and magnetic field dependent temperature.
