Las áreas de montaña y los nuevos modelos de desarrollo rural

El término desarrollo rural esconde numerosos matices y significados. Sin duda, su frecuente utilización pone de manifiesto la revalorización y el cambio de mentalidad que se va imponiendo sobre los espacios rurales. Con este artículo se pretende analizar el desarrollo que en particular tiene lugar en las zonas de montaña, de clara vocación forestal, su evolución y relación con el contexto económico y social actual, y reflexionar sobre su futuro aportando pautas de lo que debería ser un desarrollo rural territorial y sostenible.......In this article we try to analyze the development in mountain areas, (where we find important forest resources), its relation with the economic and social situation in the present moment, its evolution in the last years, as well as its future and the guide lines about a right way of rural development: sustainable and centered in the local community and the territory.
