Leadership Model and Anger Control : A Nepalese Study

This study was based on Chakraborty and Chakraborty’s Yoga-Vedant Model (2004) of leadership. This model is based on purification of emotions and clarity of intellect. The development of psychological growth of leaders is poor in Nepal as compared to India. Indian leaders are showing the development of stronger transcendental self and clarity of intellect. Nepalese showed acceptable responses in cluster A (66%), B (52%), and E (64%) of leadership motivation. The responses of student sample (N=218) were better than the total Nepalese sample (N=255). The bank employees (N=37) depicted stronger mean in cluster A only. Comparison between Nepalese and Indian samples showed quite stronger values of Indian subjects in clusters A, D and E scores above 75 %. The anger cognition has improved considerably for the Nepalese sample mean of 114, which exhibited control over the negative emotions.
