Linear response theory for thermoelectric transport coefficients of a partially ionized plasma
Electrical conductivity, thermopower and thermal conductivity for a partially ionized plasma are expressed within an extended Zubarev approach by equilibrium correlation functions. The Green function technique is used to evaluate the correlation functions in different approximations. Improvements of the Lenard-Balescu approximation are considered, which account for dynamical screening effects and higher Born approximations for the electron-electron, electron-ion and electron-atom interaction.
