Marine litter study to support the establishment of an initial quantitative headline reduction target

This report summarises the results of support given to the European Commission on several topics related to marine litter. The main scope is to support the development of an EU headline marine litter reduction target that can be used for benchmarking progress towards good environmental status for marine litter. Throughout, the report it makes reference to the scenarios analysed in the European Commission's Impact Assessment accompanying the proposal for reviewing the European waste management targets.
