Mark(ant)e Verpackung
Gegenstand der vorliegenden Arbeit ist das Verpackungsdesign von Co-Branding Produkten. Untersucht wurde ob und inwiefern Gestaltungselemente dieser Produkte als Differenzierungsstrategie von Konsumgütern eingesetzt werden können. Der kommunikationswissenschaftliche Aspekt entsteht durch den Kommunikationsprozess der zwischen einem Unternehmen als Sender, der Verpackung als Botschaft und den Konsumenten als Empfänger stattfindet. Zunächst werden die Funktionen und die relevanten Gestaltungselemente von Verpackungen im Allgemeinen, sowie deren Wirkung auf den potentiellen Käufer dargestellt. Danach werden Co-Branding Produkte im Speziellen untersucht. Die Besonderheit, die sich bei diesen Produkten ergibt, ist eine erhöhte Anforderung an das Verpackungsdesign, durch die doppelte Markenkomplementarität auf gleichbleibender Verpackungsfläche. Um die Verpackung als Botschafter zu verstehen wird die Bedeutung des Markenartikels und des Images beschrieben. Im weiteren Verlauf folgt der Aufbau der Markenallianz als Marketingstrategie. Durch die Bündelung spezifischer Kompetenzen ist es möglich zusätzliche Ressourcen zu erschließen. Der empirische Teil wird anhand einer semiotischen Analyse dargelegt. Analysiert wurde, welche Bedeutungen Symbole auf Co-Branding Verpackungen vermitteln und was diese kommunizieren können. Ziel dieser Untersuchung war es, die Bedeutung von Symbolen anhand von zweifach markierten Verpackungsgestaltungen als Möglichkeit der Kommunikationsstrategie im Marketing darzustellen.
