This deliverable constitutes the Final report (the "report") of the project "Market study of cloud solutions of possible use during competition inspections" (market study) under the Framework Contract DI7929-00, Lot 2 of the Directorate-General for Competition (DG COMP), which was conducted between February and November 2023. The project aims to support the European Commission (EC) with knowledge on the availability and scope of cloud solutions and related functionalities supported in the market, and used to identify, preserve, access, select, analyse and extract data, which may be of use in the context of inspections at company premises. The main objective of this Market Study is to provide the EC with knowledge on cloud computing solutions of possible use during competition inspections. This objective falls into two categories of analysis, representing two distinct subgroups of objectives: - Objective1 (Obj1): market study of cloud computing solutions (including eDiscovery functionalities) used by undertakings and of possible interest in an inspection context. Under Obj1 the focus of the study is specifically on market leaders in their respective market segment in the EU, i.e., on cloud computing solutions which Commission Inspectors would have the highest probability of coming across in inspections. - Objective2 (Obj2): market study of cloud computing solutions (including eDiscovery functionalities) for possible use by Commission inspectors in the context of inspections.
