Model de program de formare. Lucratorul de tineret - Training Programme Model. Youth worker (Romanian version)
This paper has as a starting point the requirements of CNFPA (National Council for Adult Vocational Training) for educational programs’ accreditation, in agreement with the current legislation in Romania, for Youth worker occupation. At this point we do not have in Romania a recognized occupational standard for this occupation. It is in our opinion, and according to our experise, this is what we consider to be the main competencies for this occupation. It will be presented a model to achieve CNFPA accreditation, type of communication, learning methods used etc. Youth worker competencies are: 1. Interpersonal communication 2. Interactive communication 3. Personal development 4. Professional development 5. Developing pro-social behavior 6. Youth needs assessment 7. Defining risk situations for youth intervention and decision; 8. Monitoring and support in managing the daily lives of young 9. Planning specific activities for young 10. Organizing activities for young 11. Stimulation of youth participation in family and community life 12. Liaising with local authorities and young specialists in the field.
