Modelling of weapon system effects
The need for and scope of modelling of weapon effects is introduced. Depending on the intended application weapon models may be specific, that is, represent a particular build of weapon, or generic, representing a general weapon class having like characteristics. The models may be all-embracing in scope spanning the reliability, carriage and release, delivery trajectory, fuzing and terminal effects phases or may be deliberately selective describing only some of these aspects.
