Modelling the System of Analysis of Educational Facilities of High Educational Establishments

The article is devoted to creation of the system of processing and analysis of information on educational facilities of higher education establishments. Importance of development of information systems in the sphere of education is underlined with scientific importance of this task and significant volume of efforts directed at practical introduction of information systems in the system of education. The article presents a scheme of formation of elementary indicators and their reformation in accordance with needs of customers, provides assessments of dimension of the scorecard of educational facilities using example of one state customer - Ministry of Culture of Ukraine - and provides a fragment of the database of regulatory and reference information about educational facilities of higher educational establishments of the Ministry of Culture of Ukraine. In order to present practical possibilities of application of the approach to building up the information system, test software was developed. In order to store the main information database and auxiliary reference information, the developers used Microsoft Access, however, Microsoft Excel was used as an interface, since it provides more flexible possibilities of additional processing of user queries. The presented models, methods and information technologies of accumulation, processing and presenting information on educational facilities allow provision of all subjects of management with relevant information for making decisions on planning and development of higher education.
