On Matrix Formulation of Law of Corresponding States in Quantum Hall Effect

The law of corresponding states in Quantum Hall Effect (QHE) is based on composite boson picture and allows one to construct global phase diagram. In this paper, we indicate the symmetry involved in these laws through the matrix formulation and show that in a restricted sense, they are not ‘independent’ which is in accordance with the law of corresponding states in equilibrium statistical mechanics
