Optimising of 'Sea Toll' Network Design on the Maritime Freight Transportation Network

This paper presents the design of the sea toll network, especially in choosing the combination of the marine toll network that has the best performance, in terms of profit and benefit. The problem of selecting the best combination in this model is a combinatorial optimization problem. The mathematical model developed is a bi-level programming problem, where the lower-level problem is related to network loading due to sea toll operations, while the upper-level problem is related to selecting the optimal combination of the sea toll network. The optimization technique for selecting the best combination is done by applying the Genetic Algorithm Multi-objective Non-dominated Sorting Genetic Algorithm II (NSGA-II), using the complete enumeration method
