Source F-7, F-5 Tentative 1/ Disposition A Problem or Area of Concern A. Energy Demand Forecasts 1. Projection of power demands are required as the basis for planning operation and development of the Columbia River hydro-thermal power system. COMMENT: The CR&T study will adapt the power demand projections developed by the Pacific Northwest Utility Conference Committee (PNUCC) to meet its needs. The PNUCC projections of power loads and resources comprise a compilation of the load forecasts and development plans of the individual public and private utilities in the region. The projections are for a 21-year period and are reviewed annually to reflect any changes in the power outlook. Some studies by the FPC extending beyond 21 years also could be adapted to the CR&T needs. 2. Electric energy needed to clean up environment. (G.B. 20) 2/ COMMENT: This would be one of the considerations in developing energy demand forecasts. F WI-24
