Peace and development in Central America : a review of five new proposals

The purpose of this article is to review five new development plans, associated with the Central American peace process, from the point of view of the analytical background they present, the model they suggest, and the strategies they propose. The author seeks to identify areas of agreement and disagreement among these plans, in the expectancy to ultimately contribute to a more rational and efficient allocation of the scarce resources for Central American development
