Planning and Implementation Procedures in Public Infrastructure Works in the Member States

This study on planning and implementing major projects in transport infrastructure takes into consideration the experiences in several EU Member States (France, Germany, Greece, Portugal and the United Kingdom). It analyses how decision-making and implementation of transport infrastructure projects can be improved in terms of time, cost and transparency. The study also describes planning procedures at the national level in the fifteen Member States.
