Problems In the Creation of An Agroindustrial Complex
One of the most characteristic aspects of scientific and technical progress in agriculture is the replacement of traditional production and labor processes by industrial processes. Scientific and technical transformations in the agrarian sphere result, primarily, in the extensive replacement of manual labor by machines and the organization of production on an industrial footing. Large-scale, mass production of standardized agricultural products; specialization of technological and labor operations; mass application of the latest advances in the biological and chemical sciences; rapid spread of highly effective strains and breeds of animalsâall these are emerging as essential features in modern agriculture. Therefore, in this branch of the economy as well, since production methods are involved, the transition is being made from manual to machine labor, or to the industrial stage.
