Problems in the Use of Mathematical Methods in Planning
The broad application of the methods of mathematical economics and of electronic computing techniques is the most important condition for the further improvement of planning and for reducing the time needed for compiling a plan. Branch (departmental) computing centers and automated control systems will be formed in the next few years. Provision is made for ensuring their cooperation in the future with the state network of computing centers. In this way, the transition to the organization of a Single State Network of Computing Centers (EGSVTs) in the USSR will be prepared.
