Problems Related to the Security of the Open Financial Networks

All around the world there is a need to continue improving the security of the Open Financial Networks in order to mitigate the threat of disruption to e-commerce operations and to facilitate sustainable economic growth. It’s important to know that a WLAN (Wireless Local Area Network), on which some devices are still using WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy), is not optimally secured. The effort to create a standard that provides better security for the wireless networks has been long and not so smooth. The new elements of the IEEE 802.11i security standard, WPA (Wi-Fi Protected Access) and RSN (Robust Security Network) have as a result an increase in global commerce and better interaction between the Wi-Fi (Wireless Fidelity) users and among net administrators.
