Public administrations in the EU Member States : 2022 overview

This report outlines recent trends in public administration reform in EU Member States. Some of the more general trends include an acceleration and focus on service delivery and digitalisation along with higher-than-average public spending. These are in part linked to the COVID-19 pandemic. Several new major medium and long-term reform ini¬tiatives have been launched, with a focus on organisational restructuring, modernisation, efficiency, transparency and simplification.
