Quality Control (Qc) Groups and Education System

Total Quality Management (TQM) is a new model of management that is widely speeded among the organizations. Suggestion system, continuous improvement, Kayzen, and quality control groups are some aspects of TQM. This paper is going to study the efficiency of quality control groups in Iran's secondary schools. The main question is that whether quality control groups (QCG) are efficient in relation to improving teacher's teaching methods, pupil's evaluations, curriculum development processing, teacher's knowledge improvement, and pupil's achievements. Samples were selected from the members of QCG and schools principles in the scientific department (Chemistry, Geology, physics, Biology and mathematics) of education system. The results indicated that QCG were successful in the field of improving teacher's teaching methods, pupil's evaluations, pupils achievements, curriculum development processing, but in the case of teachers knowledge improvement, and otherrelated problems these groups have failed
