Quality Services Implementation : Peruvian Experience – OTC Market

The economic development of several countries is always accompanied by a parallel development of financial systems, as evidenced by numerous theoretical and empirical studies have addressed the issue, showing the key strategic role in transforming these savings into investment ( Calvo et al., 2005), so the market is over the counter (OTC) in Peru is an important alternative of trading where transactions are made with and between members of the local financial system and abroad. The aim of this paper is to analyze the OTC market and the use of both the service-quality measurement and certifications for financial services in the Peruvian market and their distribution (Cole, 1985, 1989, Gooderham, Nordhaug and Ringdal, 1999) as a tool for improvement and development.El desarrollo económico de los diversos países viene siempre acompañado de un desarrollo paralelo de sus sistemas financieros, como lo atestiguan numerosos estudios teóricos y empíricos que se han ocupado del tema, mostrando el papel estratégico fundamental de los mismos en la transformación del ahorro en inversión (Calvo et al., 2005); es así que el mercado over the counter (OTC) en el Perú es una alternativa importante de negociación donde se realizan transacciones con y entre entidades del sistema financiero local y del extranjero.
