Questions to be answered by a state-of-the-environment report

This document is the final report of a study undertaken by the EEA together with its Expert Group on Guidelines and the State of the Environment Reporting in 1999-2000. It lists questions of policy makers and the general public that could be used to set up a state of the environment report or an environmental indicator report. It should be seen as a 'living' document that can be amended in the future through new versions, and certainly not as a definitive and universal one.
